Danfo yellow is a pan-african platform dedicated to the histories and knowledge surrounding transit decor seen across the continent. West Africa boasts shared histories pertaining to the introduction of cars, public transit, English language and signage as we know today. Each culture has a definite visual identity, Danfo’s being Lagos’. Artists across the continent and wider have taken notice of the decor adorning the vehicles in Lagos.
