I am glad to have worked on the research behind the Danfo font, tracing its origins from 19th Century America to its stylizations on Lagos streets. Working with Seyi was exhilarating as it provided a chance to talk about the design history of Nigeria and the roles we play as culture workers in preserving and sustaining semblances of Nigerian design.
